We expect everyone crew member to be a team player and help out in all areas of Technical Productionīelow are Tech Associate Responsibilities that we will expect a Lighting Technician to be able to perform However any training must be discussed with the Director of Studio operations prior to doing so to assure proper communication and planning We encourage all employees to train in other areas to broaden their skill sets. When arriving to the studio the lighting system must be tested to assure all equipment is in working orderĬoordinate with Stage Manager and Engineering for Camera shading Preferred Skills:Experience with LightWright and VectorWorks Preferred Education:Bachelors of Fine Arts Familiarity with OSHA safety rules and operation Must have strong written and oral communication skills. Working knowledge of stage rigging and line set operation and weighting. Ability to generate industry standard Lighting paperwork as needed. Working knowledge of function and repair of theatrical lighting fixtures including ETC and Altman fixtures. Experience designing and implement industrial standard lighting stage plots. Advanced working knowledge of ETC Ion console with moving lights and LED programming experience.
